Born in 1978 in Izmir, Turkey. Following her graduation from American Collegiate Institute (ACI) in 1996, had her BA degree in London College of Fashion on Design Technology for the Fashion Industry (DTFI). Her dissertation topic was ‘Communication Through Clothes’. In 2001, she started to work as a reporter in Daily Radikal. In 2003, she worked as a reporter, an editor and a columnist in Daily Milliyet. In 2009, she started to work in Daily Hurriyet as a columnist, writing on mostly human rights violations. In 2018, when Hurriyet was sold, she resigned and became a freelancer. She has 3 published books; last one focusing on girls all around Anatolia, who achieved a lot despite the obstacles.
